Dr. Holger Sepp (born 1965) holds a doctorate in economics and has held positions in asset management, private banking and asset servicing. He has been a member of the Management Board of Hauck & Aufhäuser since February 1, 2019, and is today responsible for Asset Servicing and the newly established Digital Assets division. Until 2022, he was also responsible for Private Banking. Previously, he was responsible for the asset servicing of the group in Germany as Managing Director and member of the branch management at CACEIS Bank since 2010. On the other hand, he was responsible for all German and Austrian clients of the group worldwide. In doing so, he operated out of the Frankfurt, Munich and Luxembourg offices. Prior to this, Holger Sepp was COO/CFO and CRO for Asset Management and Private Banking at Sal. Oppenheim in Cologne and Luxembourg from 2006 to 2010. Between 2000 and 2005, he was first Head of Corporate Development at DekaBank and later Managing Director of Deka Investment KAG in Frankfurt. After a banking apprenticeship, his studies of economics and a dissertation at the Albert-Ludwig-University in Freiburg, he gained further professional experience in the field of management consulting since 1993 and was finally, until 1999, partner and co-owner of a management consulting firm specialized in financial services.
